RPS Conference

AFMA’s Residency Program Solutions Planning Committee submitted a total of 22 proposals for RPS 2011. All 22 proposals were accepted for presentation.

The presenter for Thomas L. Stern Lectureship Series, Elizabeth Baxley, MD, was a submission from AFMA. National speaker, Rory Roland presented: “Learn How to Manage Stress in a High Pressure World” at the Jane S. Allison Lectureship series and then provided two breakout sessions on the topic “Mentors, Managers and Leaders – How to Leave a Legacy of Greatness”.

AFMA presented a roundtable discussion on the topic of “TAGME” and also facilitated three tables at the common interest breakfast on Fellowship Coordinators, AFMA Committees and AOA.

The 2012 RPS Conference for Faculty and Staff of Family Medicine Residencies will be held April 1 – 3, 2012 at the Westin Crown Center Hotel in Kansas City, Missouri.
